Fourth Generation Family Land ♡
Local entrepreneur Dayton Ricketts purchased the 27 acre portion of the land in 2019. Formally belonging to his grandparents & great grandparents, Dayton will be the 4th generation to settle on the land now known as Standard Ridge. A man by the name of Charles Christian originally purchased the land from the crown on March 18th 1889 for $1 per acre. The land has since been host to many agricultural endeavors over the years. Dayton hopes to preserve the land & shed light on the lands heritage by offering unique agritourism experiences, creating a self sustaining outdoor environment that can be enjoyed by locals & those passing through.
